By booking a session, programme, or purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. About Balance Within

Balance Within provides wellbeing and therapeutic services including Hypnotherapy, NLP, Belief Coding®, Hypno-Massage and Holistic Massage to support relaxation, emotional wellbeing and personal growth.

All services are delivered by Carley Milne-Taylor, a qualified practitioner based in England.

3. Booking & Payments

All sessions and programmes must be booked in advance via the website or by direct contact.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

An appointment is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

Prices may change from time to time; however, the price confirmed at the time of booking will always apply.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.

Appointments rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice may be transferred to a new date.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Same-day cancellations and failure to attend (no-shows) will result in the full session fee being retained.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. The full session fee will still apply.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule your session, you will be offered either an alternative appointment or a full refund.

Discretion may be applied in genuine emergency circumstances at my sole discretion.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided once a session has taken place.

Programmes and packages are non-refundable once commenced.

Digital products, recordings, downloads and self-paced programmes are non-refundable once accessed.

If exceptional circumstances arise prior to service delivery, please contact me and I will consider a fair and reasonable resolution in line with UK consumer law.

6. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential.

Information will only be disclosed if:

You provide explicit consent

Disclosure is required by law

There is a safeguarding concern relating to your safety or the safety of others

7. Professional Boundaries

All sessions are conducted in a safe, respectful and professional manner.

I reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if inappropriate behaviour occurs. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

8. Nature of Services

All services provided by Balance Within are intended to support wellbeing, relaxation and personal development.

They do not constitute medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment.

If you are under medical care, taking prescribed medication, pregnant, postnatal, or receiving ongoing treatment, it is your responsibility to seek appropriate medical advice before booking.

9. Hypno-Massage Specific Terms

Hypno-Massage combines hands-on massage with gentle hypnotherapy techniques designed to support relaxation and nervous system regulation.

By booking a Hypno-Massage session, you acknowledge that:

This is not psychotherapy or counselling

Hypnotherapy elements are relaxation-based

You may experience deep relaxation or altered awareness

You may pause, modify or stop the session at any time

No diagnosis or medical treatment is provided

10. Health, Consent & Safety

You will be required to complete a health and consent form prior to treatment.

It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant medical and health information.

Massage treatments are delivered with informed consent and appropriate draping at all times.

I reserve the right to decline or modify treatment if it is unsafe or inappropriate to proceed.

Pregnancy massage is offered only after the first trimester.

11. Results Disclaimer

While services are designed to support positive change, individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Outcomes depend on personal engagement, individual circumstances and external factors beyond my control.

12. Online Sessions

For online sessions:

You are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet space

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time

The same professional and confidentiality standards apply

13. Data Protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Balance Within Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual Property

All materials, recordings, scripts and resources provided by Balance Within are for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Balance Within shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of services, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer protection legislation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
